The Orchard Barn

1,400 square feet | Reception Capacity: 75

Two centuries ago, this elevated perch was an orchard with more than 300 flowering apple, pear, cherry, apricot, and plum trees. Today, this spot overlooking field and forest is home to the aptly named Orchard Barn, which was used to store hay and feed for the farm’s thriving cattle business in the mid-20th century. In 2012, the soaring space with stacked windows looking down on Beaver Run was renovated for a family wedding. Cedar was sourced from an Amish farm in Pennsylvania to upgrade the flooring, gable roof, and ceiling accented with exposed timber beams and iron chandeliers. This rustic venue can be an intimate space with centerpieces displayed on the elevated alleys and lit votives along the walls, or open up the floor-to-ceiling barn doors for a panoramic view of the grounds.
